Sunday “Bulletin” for October 25, 2020

Candle Lighting

Welcome

Confession
Almighty God to whom all hearts are open, all desires known, cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we might release our worries and concerns and genuinely enter this space… let us breathe out our troubles and breathe in you. (Silence)
Allow us, O God, to grow into fullness, receive your forgiveness, and hear your Word for us on this day. Amen.

Passing the Peace (Including Special Greeting From Your FLCC Neighbors)
The peace of Christ be with you always, and also with you, please take a moment to share this peace with those around you, or if you are on your own, consider pausing this video and giving someone a call or text or email to share your peace with them.

Offering Intro/Give Thanks/Offering
If you’d like to make your donation online, please head over to the website firstlutheranpo.com and scroll down to where it says online giving and consider giving through there, if you usually write checks, feel free to use this time to write your check and put it in an envelope to mail, if your giving is setup to regular come out of your checking account or credit card or if you can’t afford to give at this time, I would encourage you to use this time to think about the gifts in your lives, to think about what you are grateful for in the midst of this not so great news that’s going on in the world. Whatever you decide to do, make sure you allow this time to be useful for you.

Children’s Time
There will be a children’s time, although I will post that as a separate video as well here (https://youtu.be/fxIWax6H3WU) because I know how hard it can be to keep your little ones in one place for that long.

Sermon “Where Did You Get All This?”

Only By Grace

Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.* On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
