In the last decade there had been an explosion of research into the human microbiome, most of which is located in the gut. Researchers are actively exploring the relationship between the gut and Parkinson’s disease and there is strong evidence to suggest that Parkinson’s actually starts in the gut. Our speaker Dr. Kelly Condefer, a movement disorders specialist located in Wenatchee, Washington has taken a special interest in this field and will share with you some of this exciting research.
