An emergency warning has been issued for a bushfire burning at Tamboon and Tamboon South in Victoria.

The fire is burning in a westerly direction with the flames so fierce it has created its own weather patterns.

Authorities are warning the safest option is to shelter indoors as it’s too late to leave.
