US women ripped: 13 goals vs Thailand, Raiders on Hard Knocks, Titans retire George, McNair jerseys

On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis discussed the US Women’s soccer team and their 13-0 trouncing over Thailand in the World Cup yesterday. There has been a lot of criticism over the win, particularly the ongoing on-field celebrations following each goal. Clay pointed out the limited substitution policy rules in the tournament as an issue, with the goal differential not being a significant factor contrary to most reports. Clay’s only criticism is the amount of celebration following each goal.

Clay Travis then commented on the selection of the Oakland Raiders as the upcoming featured team on HBO’s Hard Knocks. This will be must-see TV, said Travis, with Gruden and AB and Incognito, etc.

Finally, Clay Travis praised the decision by the Tennessee Titans to retire the jerseys of Steve McNair and Eddie George. Clay mentioned how well-deserving both men are for their performance on the field and in the community of Nashville.
