AJ+ was on the ground with protesters on June 6, as tens of thousands of people marched in front of the White House to protest police brutality and racial inequality.

This was one of the largest anti-racism protests yet in the U.S. Demonstrators shouted for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Freddie Gray, Eric Garner, Mike Brown and so many of the other victims of racism in America.

We asked protesters what it means to be Black in America.
